Young Calves can be raised till they reach the age of Heifer(A female cow which never had a calf) and can be sold for the farmers who are need of Cattle for Dairy Farming. It will be beneficial to raise the calves which are of good breed in term of giving more milk, thus more money(Majority of the farmers in India prefer HF or Jersey. The HF breed produce A1 milk and also most of the milk co-operatives in India procure A1 milk or Buffalo milk). These calves can be purchased when they are three to six months old and can be sold when they reach the age of Heifer(This age is between 24 months for Cow and 30 months for Buffalo)
